Несмотря на адовую жару в Москве, таки выбрался в кинотеатр и посмотрел новинку этого лета "Формулу 1" (F1). Плюсы и минусы в ней сразу видны: это сценарно шаблонная и предсказуемая спортивная драма. С другой стороны, зрелищность и чистое удовольствие от просмотра тоже никто не отменял. Брэд Питт играет гонщика-ветерана Сонни Хейса, который в молодости подавал большие надежды в автоспорте, но после тяжелой аварии ушел, затем подсел на азартные игры и следующие тридцать лет жизни занимался всякой хренью, периодически участвуя в периферийных заездах в разных категориях. Все меняется, когда его старый друг (Хавьер Бардем) предлагает Хейсу помочь с проектом Ф1 и занять вакантное место в команде-аутсайдере.

Сколько мы уже видели лент про автогонки, начиная с классических фильмов "Гран-При" (1966) и "Ле Ман" (1971). И каждая из них делает этот довольно скучный вид спорта очень кинематографичным на большом экране. Вот и в картине Джозефа Косински создатели постарались по максимуму: все сценарные натяжки компенсируют драйвовый монтаж и сочная картинка. Снята F1 с учетом всех передовых технологий, а съемки проходили во время настоящих Гран-при. Поэтому вымышленная команда конструкторов здесь выглядит вполне реалистично на фоне "конюшен", скажем, Ferrari или Red Bull.

Такое кино, безусловно, нужно смотреть в кинотеатре, наслаждаясь великолепным звуком и хорошим визуалом. Не уверен, что фильм сможет производить такое же впечатление на экране скромного ноутбука или тем более смартфона. Джозеф Косински снял снова "Топ Ган: Маверик", но теперь вместо самолетов нам завезли гоночные болиды. В целом два с половина часа пролетели для меня неожиданно легко. А к финалу я даже слегка "болел" за их команду. Так что это явный признак того, что драматургия в ленте все же "работает", хотя тут нет ничего, чтобы как-то удивило. Звук и монтаж явно будут отмечать по сезону. Это традиционно сильное звено подобных лент. И F1 не исключение.
